Acetyl-L-Carnitine is involved in the metabolism of food into energy. It also contributes to the production of a neurotransmitter which is required for mental function. Alpha Lipoic Acid is a powerful antioxidant which fights off the damaging effects of free radicals and also regenerates other antioxidants such as vitamin C, vitamin E and glutathione, back to their active state. Dosage

  • Definitely makes a big difference to energy levels. I've used ALA+A-Carnitine for about two years and find it's best to take a week off every couple of months to get the best effect. Recent newspaper articles say it prolongs life - I don't know about that but it certainly prolongs a sense of well-being in me!
