How Celadrin works...
Joints are complex, mechanical parts of the body, involving muscles, ligaments and cartilage. Good function in all parts of the joint is required for the good health and movement of the joint. All parts of the joints are made from cells, which have a fatty outer layer encasing them called the cell membrane. It is vital that this membrane be flexible and in good condition for the joint to function effectively.
Celadrin is made from natural substances called 'cetylated fatty acids' (CFAs) which are an essential part of these cell membranes. As we get older levels of CFAs mayy drop in our body making our joints less flexible and more prone to the inflammation, resulting in compromised joint health. Because of this, supplementing CFAs orally has been shown to help improve the maintenance of joints and their flexibility (1).
Which other joint products may work well alongside Celadrin?
Celadrin is believed to work synergistically with glucosamine and chondroitin helping to support their restorative qualities within the joint's cartilage. Additionally omega 3 or cod liver oil supplements may work well with Celadrin as they too target the cell membrane but contain different fatty compounds.
Healthy Direct also provides Celadrin cream, which may also help to maintain the health of the joint and surrounding tissue. Using the cream alongside the tablets can enhance the effects, further working on inflammation both topically and internally.
On its own or along side other joint products in the joint range, Celadrin is a powerful aid for overall joint maintenance. It is believed to be safe to take long term and an ideal supplement to your joint care regime.
